Florence Galleria admission waiting time

I am going to Florence in July with my family for basically 1 day and am going to the Accademia and the Uffizi. If I buy tickets online through the website will that help me to "skip the lines" or do I need to buy the more expensive "skip the line" tickets that don't even provide a tourfrom one of the other websites? Thanks for any input

there is no such thing as a 'skip the line' ticket that private vendors can offer; they just buy up ordinary timed tickets and re-sell them at a higher price. For the Uffizi, there is a different door for those with timed reservations; you will be in within minutes of your reservation; generally show up 15 minutes ahead and you will go right in at or before your time. No one sells a better ticket than the Uffizi official site.

For Academia even with a timed reservation it may take a bit more time but no one can sell you a ticket that makes it easier.
