Florence for a Wedding - Where else should I go

My niece is getting married in on 9/12/2024. We have a family Villa from from 9/10-9/14 in Belvedere BO, Italy. We will likely arrive on 9/10 and depart on 9/16.

I would like to take some time to enjoy Tuscany but also visit 1-2 other locations in Italy. I don't have to stay in the family Villa the entire time, if we went to another location for 1+ nights that would be ok.

What other locations would you suggest with my time constraints and where i will be starting?

Do you mean Lizzano in Belvedere? Because it isn't even close to Florence. It's at least an hour and a half away by car. After the wedding, you might want to relocate to Florence and day trip from there

Take a look at Puglia on the coast, Lecce or Polignano a Mare would be good places to stay.

I would consider one of the day trips to a winery so you can see some of the countryside. Also there is are many wonderful places to explore in Florence.
