Florence extended stay

I’m hoping to find a 2 month apartment rental in Florence. I have looked at “housing anywhere.com.” Any recommendations or suggestions?

We’ve used AirBNB - and my aunt has used it a few times - in Florence. We had really good luck with nice apartments, just at the outskirts of the historic center. Not expensive, either!

I’ve found good places on booking.com for a few of my visits.
Not for two months though.
When do you plan to be there?
Florence is my favourite place in Italy .

I have successfully used vrbo before for a few months long rentals in Florence and other Italian cities.
Just be sure you thoroughly read all reviews and ask any questions directly with the landlord.
We used this agency - Pitcher & Flaccomio - 10 years ago and used again December 2024/January 2025 for apartment rentals in Florence, Italy. It was a much different experience recently. I strongly recommend you do not use them after a situation that occurred in the rental apartment regarding a faulty heating system. The agency could not fairly resolve the issue between the landlord and us, the tenants. It was not worth the substantial investment that includes 1500. Euros for security deposit.
I also looked at housinganywhere.com and did not think it seemed reliable. I have found there are several on line "agencies" that list rentals in Florence but have wrong locations and outdated info. Read reviews for the agencies as well.
Friends have used booking.com with good results. Good luck with your search and enjoy wonderful Florence!

How many people? What kind of apartment? What area? I think you’ll get more helpful answers with some specifics.

We’ve stayed in Florence twice for 35 nights each and once for about 10 nights. We loved all three airbnb apartments but they were in different parts of the centro storico and different sizes and styles.
