Besides the parade I could use some suggestions of what to do in Florence over Easter (Sunday and Monday) We will have already toured the museums by then.

If you have a car you could easily take a day trip down the Chianti Road toward Siena. The road is very scenic with several interesting possibilities for stops along the way. Just google "Chianti Road". Be sure to get to Florence's main square (in front of the Duomo) early Easter Sunday so you don't miss the "Scoppio del Carro" fireworks. The square will be packed by 10 AM.

Thanks, Tom. We were not planning on having a car. We need something we can take the bus or train to. We will definately be in the square early for the parade. Thanks for the tip!
