I have three days to explore Florence in mid September....Sunday Monday and Friday (not a typo). I am committed to day trips the middle of the week. My question is, should I visit the Uffizi and David on Sunday or wait until Friday? I'm concerned about the number of people on a Sunday. Thank you!!
I don't think one of the days will be considerably more crowded than another--the big thing is to get your ticket/reservation in advance. Then, you won't have to wait in line. Our hotel took care of that for us.
Thank you! That is exactly why I'm twisting on it now...trying to figure out when to make that reservation!

I like to do the "must dos" first, so that your free time is unconstrained.
the sooner the better. don't leave stuff for the last day, you might run out of time.
Also Monday would have been a good day to do day trips outside of Florence. Most Florence museums are closed on Mondays.
