Florence Duomo Cumulative Ticket/Dome Climb Scheduling

Hi,

I'm trying to purchase 2 cumulative tickets and then schedule a time for the dome climb. Traveling in early April. The 3 full days I will be in Florence are Sat 4/7 - Mon 4/9.

As I undestand it tickets are valid for 30 days from the date you enter on website and then they are good for 72 hours after first use.

I'm trying to put 4/7 as my start date, knowing that I can then use the ticket for the following 72 hours or use it the first time on any of my days.

My dilemna is that I want o specifically climb the Dome on 4/9 @ 9:30am, but their system always puts it for 4/7.

How do I make this work? Do I need to first buy the ticket and then separately schedule the dome climb?

Any assistance is appreciated.

Ok, I did some exploring (as I remember it taking me awhile to figure this out last year) and I think Ive remembered.

So you go to the page where you make the purchase of the cumulative ticket (hopefully this one):

When you purchase you will ignore the booking for the dome (the drop down). Before you purchase though, look on the right side of that screen, scroll down a bit to just above the credit-card icons. Do you see the link that says "Have you already purchased your cumulative ticket? Book your entrance to the monuments" ?

When you click on this it brings you to a screen that asks you to enter one ticket number at a time to book a time for the monument (in this case the Dome climb). I do remember doing this process (entering the numbers). So, I believe you buy the cumulative tickets. They will be emailed to you. Then you go back to that page and start entering each in and booking each for the dat and time you want (the 9th)

Does that make sense? I don't know why they have the drop down. Maybe for this who want to climb on the date they are starting the ticket?--

Jessica - thanks for the feedback. That seems like how I’ll have to do it. It’s counter-intuitive, as most would just book the climb without even looking at the dates.

Gonna but the cumulative tickets tomorrow so I’ll post a follow-up message to confirm the method.

As a follow-up:

Just finished purchasing my Duomo Cumulative Tickets. Did not schedule the dome climb during the initial purchase. When I got the ticket numbers, I went back to the website and scheduled the climb for the date/time I wanted.
