We will be in Florence for 10 days in June.
Are there any seasoned Italy travelers out there that can recommend day trips from there?

Lucca is lovely. Easy to get to on the train, very walkable, and the medieval walls are great for cycling or walking. A nice change from the bustle of Florence.

This question has been discussed a number of times in this forum over the past few months. I suggest that you use the "Search" function, above, and you will find a lot of hopefully useful information. First, enter "Florence day trips" in the Search bar. Then, under "Filter by Type," choose "Travel Forum"; then under "Filter by Date" choose "1 year and newer." Happy reading!
