Last May we went on a tour out of Siena with Anna from Tours by Roberto and I'm hoping to do another one with her in October 2011. Wonderful tour and Anna was extremely informative and a lot of fun!
actually was looking for something that left from florence...
One year we caught an early bus to Siena to meet up with a day tour with toursaroundtuscany.
I've really like the tours I've done with Context Florence. The guides are amazing, and the office support has also been very good when I needed it. Here's a link to some of their excursions in Tuscany (and I believe they also can do customized things): http://www.contexttravel.com/city/Florence/all_walking_tours/Excursions
I took one from Weekend in Italy back in 2005. It's an afternoon tour; we went to a winery, had some wine, then spent a short time in Greve. It was good. In fact, I took some of my best pictures ever at the winery. This is the website: http://en.firenze.waf.it/tour_dett/244-countryside-tours/3-afternoon-excursion-to-the-chianti-area.html
