My husband and I took the accidental tourist cooking class and wine tasting while we were in Florence 2 weeks ago. The class is just a simple pasta class, but it is paired with a wine and olive oil tasting in Tuscany at a former Monestary. They pick you up in Florence and drive you out to the countryside where you taste wines and olive oil and then go on to a farmhouse where you will make pasta and taste more wine and then have a fabulous lunch which is made with your pasta and other delicious foods cooked by the woman who lives there. We loved it. There were just 4 of us in the class, but they take up to 12. The website is www.accidentaltourist.com Hope this helps.

I too enjoyed Accidental Tourist's Tour back in May. Someone else has posted questions about cooking classes a while ago. Use the search facility on this website to locate that post. There were other suggestions made.

Happy cooking! :-)

Try divina cucina (just google that). It is a Florence cooking school run by an american expatriot. I have not been but I have used a lot of her advice from her website and blog (which are fantastic) to plan our upcoming trip. Have fun.
