Florence-Cooking Classes & Food Tours

Good morning all. Can you send across your recommendations for cooking classes or food tours in Florence? My husband and I will be there early October and are looking to participate in a couple of “foodie” type experiences. Interested in the food/wine pairings along with pasta and sauce making. Thank you for your help and insight.

In addition to the more traditional options that I'm sure others will mention, cooking classes are now offered at the cooking school on the upper floor of the Central Market (back left corner). I haven't tried a class, but the people I've seen participating all seem to be having a great time. There's a sign outside listing the upcoming classes, or you can check at this website: https://www.cucinaldm.com/en/courses-2/.

hey roe
couple sites to check are:
eatinginitalyfoodtours.com (click menu upper left)
getyourguide.com (click culinary)
withlocals.com (scroll down to food tours)
another off the wall for you is cucina-italiana.com this place is in lucca. take an early train, they have early morning 4 hour classes with a few classes offered; also offers accomodation.
another fun thing is a festival, it's harvest time! check tuscanyitaly.info, scroll down left side to events, click and see whats available in october.
hope this helps a fellow poster from missouri; (dad was from cape girardeau) this will keep you busy deciding what looks favorable to you. lets us know how you did.
