My daughter and I are planning our very first trip to Italy next month and I am very interested in purchasing Florence cards. Is it best to buy them now, online, or wait until we get to Florence? P.S. In case you didn't notice, we are novices at this!

I'm in Florence now and would say it's up to you. My opinion would be to simply purchase it upon arrival as you need to print the voucher and then pick up the card at one of the participating museums. We started at the Uffizi and had to present the voucher at the area where you check your bags prior to entering the museum. Nonetheless, the process is quite easy, irrespective of your choice to purchase the card at home or onsite. As an aside, visit the
Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens which are included in the Firenze Card, they are spectacular with amazing views of Florence!
