Florence Card

We will be in Florence in May, 2017 for three days.
Is purchasing a Florence Card for museum admissions a good idea?
With the Florence Card, I don't need a reservation.
However, is it possible to incur delays at top sights if they have reached maximum capacity?

IF you plan to see a LOT of museums over the 72 hours the card is valid, then it can be a good deal, but if you only want to skip lines at the Uffizi and Accademia then getting reserved times might be better. With the card, we still had short lines of card-holders there -- but breezed right in to San Marco, Pitti Palace and Medici chapels. Broke even on costs.

Just to note, we were in Florence in later May 2 years ago and there were either very short or no lines at all at San Marco, Pitti Palace, the Medici Chapels (were not impressed with those) or the Bargello.
