Hello: please, would you know if the multi-day passes offered by agents/museums in FLORENCE, have options to NOT specify a start date when purchasing such passes ahead of time (like, right now in USA) rather than wait till arriving in Florence, to somehow know what might be the best day to start using the pass? I have already visited the websites florence.com and viator.com. Thank you.

Are you talking about the Firenzecard? Have you checked the official website? https://www.firenzecard.it/en/how-it-works

Right. If it's a Firenzecard you're looking for purchase, the website says, "It is activated at the first admission in one of the circuit museums and is absolutely independent from the purchase date."

You should, however, make your advance, time-entry reservations to the museums which require them as soon as you have the card to land preferred time slots which are open. This doesn't start the clock ticking on the card, just locks up your reserved entry times.
