Florence Brunelleschi Pass time window.

I would like to purchase the Brunelleschi pass in Florence, but I have a question.

I want to purchase a ticket for the 18:45 time on a Friday. The information on the website and in other places says that I have 72 hours to use the pass. I understand that to mean that the pass is until 18:45 on Monday. When I went to purchase the ticket it says that it is only good until Sunday. Which is correct?

It appears your access starts Friday morning because the pass starts on the day of your appointment so your 3 day access is Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

From the website:
The monuments included in Brunelleschi Pass can be visited within 3 calendar days from the date selected without time constraints. The validity starts from the date selected for the visit to the Dome.

So the metric is calendar days not hours.

Hope that helps,

Right, Laurie. As hiredman said, I don't see anywhere on the duomo's official website that the pass is good for 72 hours. That you're seeing that info somewhere leads me to wonder if you're looking to purchase it on a 3rd-party site such as getyourguide? I see that they're selling an overpriced version of this pass, and stating that it's good for 72 hours. If they're just reselling the duomo's own passes for a mark-up - which they likely are - then they are in error.

Please purchase your pass from the official site:
https://operaduomofirenze.skiperformance.com/en/store?skugroup_id=3006&product_id=13344#/en/buy?product_id=13344&skugroup_id=3006&bookable_y_n_a=a

If you purchase for a Friday, is should be good THROUGH Sunday, so you'd have another 2 days to use it.:O)

Thank you. I confirmed a couple of things:
1. The Brunelleschi Pass is good for three days; on the first day you must have a timed entry to the Brunelleschi dome. You can, however visit the other parts of the complex before your timed entry. Example: if your timed entry for the dome is for 18:30 on a Tuesday, you can visit all the rest of the complex before that time on that day. And then you can visit everything (except the dome) for the remaining two days (Wed., Thurs).
2. I had this pass confused with the Firenze Card. With that pass you get 72 hours to visit museums, and the clock on that starts when you go to the first museum on the list. So if you visit your first museum on Tuesday at 18:00, you have until Friday at 18:00 to visit the others.

Good, glad you got that sorted out.

There are many "good for several days" tickets in Florence - Duomo, Pitti Palace/Boboli Gardens and now the card - which gives you some more flexibility in planning if you have the time. This is helpful because there is so much to see and so many people trying to see the same things.

The new Duomo museum is excellent BTW.

Have a great visit,
