We will be celebrating a friend's birthday with a party with 12-15 ppl in Florence and looking for restaurant recommendations. Not looking for super fancy, but perhaps a fun place that has really good food, for a lively group. All in the party are over 50. The are fun, full of laughter, and might get a tad noisy. Recommendations?

Not a fancy restaurant, well known for tourists but very good is Osteria Santo Spirito. Outside seating is great. You will definitely need a reservation for wherever you go and I have no idea if they even take reservations. We ate at a number of less fancy restaurants, but having 12-15 people may make quite a difference for setting, etc.

Check out Giglio Rosso located at 35 via Panzani. Some of the RS tour groups eat there, so they are used to serving large crowds. Their web site is https://www.ristorantegigliorosso.com/en/about/.
We also enjoyed dining at Olio & Convivium Gastronomia Restaurant. It's on the Pitti Palace side of the river on Via di Santo Spirito. The web site is (or was) https://oliorestaurant.it/. A bit pricey at lunch and more so at dinner, but excellent food, good ambiance, and fine wine,

Another-Club Culinario da Osvaldo. Very good, more locals than other. Not fancy nor expensive. Have no idea if they can handle 12-15, but might be worth the inquiry. http://www.clubosvaldo.com/
