Florence bed and breakfast

We will be in Florence for 6 nights end of October . Any reccomendations on a bed and breakfast that is not directly in Florence offers relaxing atmosphere great views and is not to difficult to get into town? Also want to visit some hill towns but we will have no rental car. We want to experience the local flavor and also be comfortable

Dale, areas you might want to explore are the Chianti area and Fiesole. Both areas can be reached by bus. As for travel to hilltowns, you might be limiting yourself by being out of Florence as most bus and transportation to these hilltowns depart from Florence and not Chianti or Fiesole. For a nice B&B in Florence, you might check out Tourist House Ghiberti.

When I say not in Florence I am thinking just right outside the citybtonwhere we could walk or take a bus to the city. In addition take bus or train to chainti, Pisa, Lucas etc etc. when we do go back to our room it's relaxing and the scenery is good with the wine!

This place is in a very pretty area outside of the city center but still in Florence proper: http://www.florencebedbreakfasts.com/vendors/aperosarelais.aspx No views exactly except of the yard and surrounding neighborhood but it's all quite pretty. It's also around he corner from a bus stop that takes you to central Florence (the train station) very quickly. Be aware if walking there: it is up a long hill. My husband, who hates cabs, made me drag my suitcase there the day we arrived; if I'd realized, I'd have refused and insisted on the bus or cab. My husband is probably unique in his hatred of cabs, but I figured I'd mention it.

So you took a cab from where to Florence? Can you also take buses and or trains from this place to Pisa, luca, chianti?

The place I linked to above is still in Florence, as I said, just not in the city center. You can take a bus to the city center and then get a bus or train to wherever you want to go. When you say you are looking for something outside Florence, do you mean right outside or in Tuscany more generally? Because if you are right outside Florence you'd probably still have to get into the city center to travel to other cities, I imagine. If you look up the address at the link on Google maps you will see what I mean about its location.
