Can one see the glass mosaic ceiling in the Baptistry during the current restoration work?
I can't climb the center tower they've erected due to a recent injury so I'd have to be able to view it from ground level.
thanks
I can't answer your question but I'm including some curiosity about the baptistry.
In particular of the blackened porphyry columns gifted by Pisa to Florence in the front on the sides of the Ghiberti's doors. Those ugly columns are there as an eternal reminder to Florentines of how the Pisans cannot be trusted.

When I was there in May, some of it was visible.
