Florence apartment, bedroom and sofa bed or ..... Really having trouble navigating the hotel sites.

My adult son and I are traveling in Italy. Taking an apartment seemed the best alternative, but he just said that he sleeps well on a sofa bed. But I am having trouble navigating the sites. Two adults, two bedrooms turns out to be two separate rooms, etc.

I finally got accomodations in Turin thru Venere. I contacted a hotel in Venice. Now in Florence, I am climbing walls.

Need to be in the central area because of old legs :)) Need an elevator if over 20 steps or so. $150-200 a night or so.
I really prefer to contact the hotel but I am really having trouble finding contact emails etc.

I think I am just getting frazzled.

How long are you going to be there? Generally I don't think apartment rentals or VRBO things are a good idea if you are staying for a short time. Hotels offer conveniences like front-desk support and in-room furnishings that are worth the extra expense, unless you are dropping your anchor for a long stay (7 days or more). What about the hotel websites was troublesome?

This rental on airbnb is next to San Lorenzo market, has a sofa bed, a separate bedroom and an elevator. Its in your price range and requires a 2 night minimum stay. Im staying here in May with my mom. https://m.airbnb.com/listings/4081527?euid=083fa76a-3910-3a49-8531-7f90126a62de
