We are looking for recommendations for a centrally located upscale apartment with terrace in Florence for 4 nights and a farmhouse/villa in Tuscany for 4 nights in April. We will rent a car for the countryside.

We stayed at Granduomo Charming Apartments in Florence (literally in the shadow of the Duomo) and Agriturismo Il Castagno just north of Siena and loved both of them. They both deserve the high ratings they get.
