If you are going to one day in Florence would you see "David" in the morning or the afternoon?

Make sure you have a reservation. You can specify am or pm for your preference. I would go to the Accademia in the morning then wander around the city in the afternoon.

I agree with Sherry but either time will do just fine. Just get the reservation.
