I have exausted my research in looking for any sort of cheap flight from milan to la rochelle 29 May. If anybody has any ideas i would really appreciate it.

Maybe if you try from Milan to Bordeaux you'll have better luck. Then research train fares from Bordeaux to La Rochelle. Or you may have to go via Paris.
