A friend of mine is willing to sell me her ticket for $450 each way from JFK New York to Milan, I'm an artist and I would like to see Art is there a lot of art to see in Milan or would I have to leave Milan and go someplace else? And I'm 83 years old so I can't do too too much. I mean you know my I'm not a young person. What do you suggest?

Airline tickets are not transferable.

If the name on the ticket doesn't match your passport you won't be going anywhere.
This transaction doesn't sound legal.
BTW, the Last Supper is in Milan.

I double art locations "Mary" recommends. In fact, son & I were in Milano 29 June--2 July '26. As an art museum fanatic, I ensured we saw & enjoyed Brera, Last Supper, Ambrosiana. Also Michelangelo's Pieta in Sforza Castle.
2 thoughts-buying an air ticket from another person, not from airline???--unheard of.
Plenty of art book, internet resources, RS guide, too.

I agree with previous responses on the numerous excellent sites to see great art in Milan. A recent post on another thread about Milan, a forum member who lives there offered more suggestions here..
If you do find a legal way for to have the airline ticket transferred to you, please do report back whether and how it worked.
