Flight from Rome to France-enough time for layover?

Our flight leaves from Rome at 10:10am with arrival at France airport at 12:20pm
Our connecting flight leaves France at 1:50pm. Is this enough time? That only leaves approximately an hour and a half to get through the airport. We don't plan on having any checked luggage.

Which France airport? CDG? Orly? Nice? One of the myriad of others?

And where are you flying too? If you're flying into CDG and have to change terminals for an international flight...?

More info and people can answer your question for you...

Single booking or separate bookings?

With the info you have given, Yes, No and Maybe are valid answers

Probably is a good answer. Sounds like a routine change of aircraft. The big if is always - first flight on time.

As stated above, need more information.
If flying from France to the US I would definitely be concerned since they have added that new set of security questions which is yet another line and process to get through.

If flying from France to somewhere else in Schengen zone of Europe, I would say you should have more than enough time.

Again, same ticket? Which airlines? Having to carry your own bags just makes screening a bit longer. Boarding will begin at 12:50. You’ll have to change terminals, go through passport, go through security, possibly take a train out to your gate. IMO, it’s a gamble. You should leave Rome earlier.

The key to this is whether this is a tight as drum connection that you booked with/through one airline , or if you cobbled together two bookings to get home from Rome.

If the former, you have a reasonable prospect of success ( at least the airline thinks so, as it would be their responsibility to get you on another flight if you missed the connection). If the latter you may have more time at CDG than you would like, while you book a new flight to get home.
