Just want to know if there is a flat rate and which taxi to take. See lots about airport to Rome center but not from train station to airport hotels.
It's 48€ either way (from or to airport)
Does your FCO hotel run a shuttle to the airport? Might be fastest and cheapest to train to the airport and then shuttle or taxi from there to your hotel.
Thank you. I am arriving by train from Spoleto and going to the Best Western Hotel Rome Airport for 1 night and flying out next morning. Since I am traveling solo, I will just take a taxi straight to the hotel from the train station. Just wondering if there was a flat rate so I don't get ripped off.
Why don't you just buy a ticket from Spoleto to Fiumicino Aeroporto. It is all Regionali, you change trains at Roma Tiburtina. 16.45 EUR. Best Western has an airport shuttle "for a nominal fee".
And the flat rate to FCO may not apply to the hotel. So I would check that carefully.
I will assume that by saying "FCO Hotel" you mean one of the hotels on the airport property. If so, and you're already at Termini Station, why not just take the train to the airport?
When I stayed at a nearby hotel in 2014 the hotel shuttle fee was 5 or 6 euro each way, from airport to hotel.
The regulated rate from "Rome" to the airport terminal may not apply to nearby hotels.
The suggestion to take train directly to airport and then take hotel shuttle may be the best bang for the buck/euro.
