i just view from gmaps that the walkway to Flaminio underground subway next to Porta del Popolo is fenced. the pic was taken in Aug 2015 which is pretty recently.
Is this the only walkway from Flaminio subway? is the whole subway under construction or perhaps the pic that i view was just a temporary closure?

There are no current reports of interruptions of service to Metro line A/Flaminio station.
I used that subway stop a few times in late September. No issues getting to the trains from the piazza or the Tram.

thanks heaps for the info. the gmaps view startled me now and then so better make sure of it. hopefully Piazza del Popolo's obelisk fountain would be uncovered during my visit too :D
