Logistics question. We are cruising out of Civitavecchia Port, and upon landing, we would like to transfer from Fiumicino to Civitavecchia as inexpensively as possible. I am not interested in expensive private transfers which are very pricey. Am I correct that there is only 1 bus at 11:50 am and is this information up to date?. Or do I consider trains? We would spend I night in Civitavecchia before boarding. Suggestions please. Thank you.

I regret that I'm not familiar with the bus you cited. Sorry, my suggestion is not to spend the night in a banal cruise port city. You are right that the connection is poor. By train, you'd have to Airport Express to Termini Station and train back (about an hour) to Civitavecchia, and call a cab to take you to a hotel.
A lot of Travel Agents fail to tell their customers how poorly connected Rome is to its Cruise Port. But that's why so many people hire a car service to pick them up at their Rome hotel at 10AM or 11AM, and take them to a ship they are allowed to board at (made up time ... ) 2:00PM.

Also not familar with the bus service you mentioned. The train from Rome to the port is easy and inexpensive. Strongly suggest staying in Civitavecchia the night before the cruise departs. By the time you deplane, take the trains, and get to the hotel, you'll not have that much time to be bored. And from what little we've seen of the town it looks like it might be interesting to explore.

On the website Rome2Rio they list a bus from T3 Fiumicino to Civitavecchia departing at 11:50 am. Can't find it elsewhere.
Otherwise, looks like 2 trains for approx. 90 min.
We will stay in Civitavecchia the night before...we've been to Rome many times and don't mind a nice simple town for a day. Normally it's where the real Italians live.
