Fiumicino Airport transfer to hotel in ciampino after 10 pm

Ciao! My flight arrives at 10:10 pm in fco in mid june. I’m only in Rome for a few days before a very early flight from ciampino to Prague. I’m having real trouble booking transportation after 11 pm (afraid I won’t make the last train of 11:30) that will take me to my hotel in ciampino. I’m open to all suggestions .. traveling solo so a car for just me hasn’t surfaced so I’m looking at around 80. Usd. Also have an early morning tour to colosseum (which I could change) the day after arrival, otherwise I would be tempted to stay close to the fco airport then head out the next morning.
Thank you in advance!!

We used RomeTransfers.net to go from Ciampino to FCO. On time, excellent driver. It was competively priced and we were pleased, thought it would be a higher price.

Are you opposed to just taking a taxi?

Not opposed to just taking a taxi but I've never been to that airport and since it's so far from the hotel in Ciampino, I thought I should book something ahead. Also, I read some articles about taxi rates outside downtown rome and was a little overwhelmed. I'm not sure if they have a set fare for going into Ciampino.

It might be more convenient and more cost effective to stay in central Rome and then arrange an early taxi or shuttle to Ciampino airport the morning of your flight to Prague. To me, that alternative is a lot easier than commuting back and forth from Ciampino area during your few days in Rome.

You might want to consider a private car service. With a late arrival after a long flight, some jet lag, not being familiar with the area, having a private driver meet you inside the terminal and take you to your hotel will, in my opinion, be money well spent. No waiting in the regular taxi line, no having a "lost" feeling, and no worry about making the last train. We have been very pleased using Rome Cabs. It is a private car service (not a cab company) that usually cost only a little more than a regular taxi. We always use them and have always had safe, courteous, and informative drivers. Go to romecabs.com and see what you think. We just send an email and they answer us with a quote within 24 hours. Unless things have changed since our last trip you do have to pay cash (Euros) at the end of the journey but nothing in advance.
