Other than talking a taxi is there bus service from the airport to the city of Fiumicino? I’m staying at an airbnb the night before my flight in Fiumicino and will be taking a train to the airport, then need to make my way to the apartment. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

I don't think there is a train to Fiumicino. I think you need a taxi. I personally would stay in Rome.

There is the COTRAL bus that connects T1 to the Fiumicino town.

I know we shun Rome2Rio here, but might be worth a look. Also look at Directions in Google Maps or Citymapper between your B&B and FCO.

Just get on the taxi line outside arrivals.
There is a separate line for travelers going to local destinations, including Fiumicino town.
we stay there often and love the place!!!! Just make sure you have an idea of the going price..often there will be more than one person going to the town and you can split a cab...do NOT pay per person.....
I think you will enjoy it..lots of life both sides of the mouth of the Tiber.
