Flight leaving on tuesday Nov 8 1025AM, direct to USA. Have scheduled shuttle from hotel in center of Rome for 630AM. Is this enough time to get through the customs stuff and not miss the plane? Have heard that you need to go through one terminal then transfer to another terminal for the flight.
Three hours at the airport should be enough time.

If you are departing on a US-flagged airliner, then you will have to depart from Terminal 5. It's an isolated, high security terminal. Most of the time it's pretty smooth (far better than the old Terminal C for US flights!). For more info on the process, you might read this: Terminal 5 at FCO
tjanks for the info. Leaving Rome on ALitalia direct to usa. Flight itinirary show leaving from terminal 3. Is this right or will I need to go through terminal 5?
