Fiumelatte accomadations with easy access to Varenna

Hi Stephanie, We walked from Varenna to Fiumelatte in Sept. 2007. It was a beautiful lakefront walk past beautiful gardens on the lakeside and eventually homes/apts. on the land side. We felt very safe and relaxed as we walked. From the far side of Varenna it took us about 40 min, 30 minutes from from Villa Cipressi where we were staying. Of course, it depends on your pace and photography stops. The traffic wasn't that busy or intimidating. It's a lovely, quiet place with magnificent views. Wouldn't hesitate to stay in that area.
