We're tentatively planning a trip to Sicily in spring of 2025 and are hoping to spend some time in Cefalu. My husband loves to fish and I'm wondering if there is any fishing from the shore available in Cefalu or anywhere in Sicily.

Based on some fishing enthusiasts' forums online, the following are fish you can catch from the shore

I don't know what kind of procedure is necessary to obtain a fishing license in Sicily. Inquire with a fishing store (Negozio di pesca sportiva).
