Fires in Sicily

Is anyone in Sicily now? We are going mid-Sept and are wondering if the fires will be an issue. Is air quality bad? Anything closed? We plan to visit Tripani, Palermo, Taormina and Syracuse areas.

If you were there now there would be no trouble getting to the places you want. I can’t speak to air quality now.

What nobody can say is what the wildfire situation will be like in mid-September. There could be more or there could be none.
