Firenze Pass needed for a 10 year?

Hello,

Our family of 5 will be in Florence for 4 days and we are planning to buy the Firenze pass for all of us adults. Do we need to buy a pass for our 10 year old, as well?

No, you do not need to buy a pass for your 10 year old. Children (under the age of 18) can get into the State museums for free.

You may want to read this article before buying the Firenze card to determine if it's worth it:http://www.visitflorence.com/florence-museums/is-firenze-card-worth-it.html

Here is an excerpt from the article:

If you're a non-EU citizen (and so are your children), then your children can enter free but you still have to stop at the ticket office to get their "free" ticket AND pay for the "reserved access" so that they can skip the line with you. This is only at the State museums, which includes the Uffizi and Accademia.

If you just want to skip the lines at the Uffizi & Accademia, you can just purchase your tickets in advance here:http://www.b-ticket.com/b-ticket/uffizi/default.aspx
