Firenze Pass and Climbing the Florence Duomo (Dome)

I am planning to purchase the Firenze pass when I travel to Florence in late June. I have seen conflicting information on Rick's site and other websites as to whether I can use the Firenze pass to visit the Duomo (and climb to the top of the dome) without pre-purchasing a ticket and making a reservation. The Firenze pass official website shows the Museo dell'Opera is included, but it says nothing about the Dome. I emailed [email protected] to ask that question and they responded "To skip the line of the Dome, the Campanile or the Opera del Duomo Museum you need to book an entrance time." But I don't see how to book an entrance time on their website without paying for a ticket and I don't want to pay separately if it isn't necessary to be able to climb the dome. Thank you in advance for this Forum's help!

The Firenze Pass does indeed cover the Duomo Dome climb and the bell tower climb. Just take your pass to the ticket booth just North of the Baptistery. (biglietteria). You present the Firenze card and tickets will be issued to you at no charge. You will be given your Firenze card back. Have fun using your Firenze card.
