You need advance, timed-entry reservations for the Uffizi, Brancacci Chapel, Accademia and some others: check the list for attractions with "Booking obligatory" notations, click on their titles, and scan the text for how to do that.

I just did this. Call the number provided to make reservations at Ufizzi, Academia and Brancacci. Have your card number and voucher number ready. The guy I spoke with couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Pick your day and hour for entry and you’ll get a five or six digit reservation number for each museum. Then go to the reservation entry door and show your card and reservation number and you’re in. I thought it was going to be difficult but it’s a breeze.
