We are travelling to Florence, Italy next summer and are looking to rent an apartment for a month. We have found a great apartment on a website called "Firenze Lodging" (http://www.firenzelodging. it/). Before booking an apartment, I want to be sure that this website company is reputable and legitimate. Do you know if this company is reliable? Or do you know where I could find out? I would appreciate any information. Thanks!

My husband and I lived in Florence in 2006 for 5 months, and have returned 3 times since then, for 2 to 3 week visits. Each time we rented our apartments through Firenze Lodging. Lorenzo and his sister Francesca have worked very hard to set up their busines to be all about customer service. They personally own some of the apartments that they advertize on their site. The rest of the apartments have been carefully inspected and researched, and nothing is advertized that does no meet their strict requirements. Our experience with this company was fabulous!! On our first trip there, we rented one of their personal apartments. In fact Lorenzo lived in an apartment just below us. Lorenzo and his sister Francesca made our stay such a pleasure with their attention to detail and ready assistance. Our apartment was perfectly located, quietly hidden away in a picturesque courtyard. It was beautifully furnished and filled with all the necessary linens, appliances, cookware, dishware, etc. We arrived late at night, bone tired from our trip. Lorenzo was there to meet us and get us settled in. He supplied us with information sheets about our neighborhood, food shopping, bus transportation etc. On our table we found an assortment of fresh fruit, bread and a pkg. of rich espresso coffee...the essentials of life. Our apt. had wireless internet access, and cable TV, and Lorenzo also supplied us with a cell phone / phone card for a small additional fee. On subsequent trips we have rented other apartments and every one has exceeded our expectations. You will find that not only is everything exactly as advertized, but that there will be lovely little touches and surprises that will make you feel so at home there. We will be traveling to Florence again in the spring and will be staying in one of their apartments. We have found one that we really love and have decided that it will always be our home away from home!
