Firenze card with a baby

Hi! My husband and I will be in Florence for 3 days with our 10 month old daughter. We're planning to buy the Firenze Card for both of us so we can avoid the lines. It sounds like we don't need a card for her, but that at the Uffizi and Accademia we will have to wait in the ticket line to get her "free" ticket and then pay a small reservation fee. Does anyone know if this is the case? Or can we just go straight into the priority entrance with her (and potentially pay the reservation fee on the spot)?

Also, has anyone purchased the Firenze Card at the Uffizi? I know it's a separate line from the main ticket sales, but I'm concerned it will still be a long line.

Thanks!!

You can purchase the florence card at Palazzo Vecchio which is next door to the Uffizi. There was either a short line or no line.

The baby will just be added on to the parent's card at the time of purchase at no extra charge. There is a designated entrance at Uffizi for Florence card holders and reserved ticket holders. The RS guidebook shows the proper entrance. I don't recall paying any additional fees for the Uffizi with the Florence card. We just showed our cards for admission. There was no reservation fee or child fee.
