I am a family of 5 traveling to Florence and am trying to decide between these 2 cards. I don't need the public transportation and want to avoid long lines. The Amici card seems like a much better deal. It would be 140E vs 250E for the Firenze card. Am I missing something?

Yeah, I think the Amici is better especially if you don't need public transportation. You can go anywhere as many times as you want within the year. The Firenze card only lasts 72 hours, although it does cover some additional sites (most notably Brancacci Chapel and Palazzo Vecchio, which otherwise are a combined ticket of 8 euros).
