Firenze card/Uffizi

I have a Firenze card, how do I book a time slot for the Uffizi? Do I need to book a time slot if I have the Firenze card? I am meeting friends there and we want to visit the gallery together.

To get priority access ie reserved entrance time you have to call. You don’t even need the Card and can buy the card later like me:-). I am on central time and called at 3 or 3,:30 am . Easy and didn’t take long to get thru. Obtained codes for Uffizi and Accademia The info is on the website under FAQs at Firenzecard.it you can also search forum. Can’t say exactly where but another contributor gives a great explanation of how to do this. Should search forum for more info on Firenze card .

Yes, you still have to make a timed-entry reservation if using the Firenzecard. How to do that is explained in the FAQ section of the card's website under "Use."

https://www.firenzecard.it/en/faq

The reservation can be made:
"Phoning the Firenze Musei call centre +39 055 294883 (from 8:30am to 6:30 pm from Monday to Friday; from 8:30am to 06:00pm on Saturday; from 09:00 to 06:00pm on Sunday and holidays) by providing name and surname. You will receive a reservation code to be presented at the ticket office of the reserved museum, to be shown together with your Firenzecard. Please note: after choosing the language, wait even if the initial automatic message specifies that visit availability is not available for the desired day; press 3 for bookings with Firenzecard and 1 for consent to the processing of personal data.
Going in person to one of the following ticket offices:

Going in person to....
...Orsanmichele ticket office, inside the Church of Orsanmichele, entrance on Via dei Calzaiuoli (from 10:00am to 4:00pm from Monday to Saturday and holidays; closed on Sunday);
....My Accademia ticket office, via Ricasoli n.105/red (from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:15am to 5:00pm, closed on Monday); showing the Firenzecard or its voucher, you can book (in case you have already booked by phone, you provide the reservation code) and collect the booking confirmation to be shown together with the Firenze Card at the priority access door of the museum when you visit it at the appointed time and date."

What I can't tell you is if your friends already have timed-entry reservations, that you can be assigned the same time slot as theirs.
