Firenze card not offered now?

I and a friend are headed to Florence for 8 days in early July and had planned to make use of the Firenze card for access to many of the museums we want to visit. But when I attempt to purchase a card on the website, I get the message that it is undergoing maintenance. And today a tour guide i was arranging something with told me that he didn't think it was being offered right now. Does anyone have recent information? Maybe makes sense that it was suspended during the Covid close-down. But with museums opening and extending their hours, I'm thinking it might be restarted soon.

Thanks!

From the entry page to the Firenze Card website:

Starting from April 26, 2021, museums and places of culture can
reopen, in accordance with the provisions of the Reopening Decree.
Each museum will reopen, in compliance with the safety regulations and
with its own times and rules. At this moment, the Firenzecard Circuit
has not yet been reactivated
in order to allow the completion of the
reopening plan of the participating museums and sites, and the
Firenzecard cannot be used for access to the museums. [emphasis theirs]

The best you can do is to keep checking the website to see when it is reactivated. Keep in mind, though, that many museums and other sites in Europe now have timed entries to control numbers of people at the site and to avoid lines at the site. The lower volume likely makes museums less likely to want to discount entry through card programs and eliminates the "skip the line" benefit.
