Firenze card for November 5-8

We will be in Florence from Monday November 5 through Friday November 8. I originally planned to purchase a Firenze Card to skip long lines outside the most popular sites. Now I am wondering if this is necessary at this time of year. How crowded is Florence midweek in early November?

The Ufizzi is free on November 6. Use the new kiosk ticketing system to get your free ticket vouchers (search for my prior post explaining the procedure). The Accademia is free from November 5-10, but you'll have to wait in line. With 2 of the major museums free during your visit, I doubt the Firenze Card would be worthwhile.

Andrea, understand as well that with the Firenzecard, you now have to make timed-entry reservations for the Uffizi and Accademia for priority entry on regular visiting days. It's also mandatory to make reservations to climb the dome at the duomo. Please reference the FAQ page of the Firenzecard website:

Closed Sunday and holidays. You will receive by phone a code to show at the ticket offices of Orsanmichele, My Accademia and Uffizi to collect your booking confirmation. You have to show your booking confirmation and your Firenzecard at the priority access doors of the museums, or....

....in Florence at one of the following ticket offices, showing your Firenzecard: Orsanmichele (Orsanmichele Church, Via dei Calzaiuoli, from Monday to Saturday 9.00-16.15; Closed Sunday and holidays); My Accademia (via Ricasoli n.105/r, from Tuesday to Sunday 8.15-17.30; Closed Monday); Uffizi (door n.2 and n.3, from Tuesday to Sunday 8.15-18.05; Closed Monday), or....
