Firenze Card for Florence Museums, Ufizzi, etc.

Can anyone speak to the use of the Firenze Card? I am purchasing it but I can not determine if it will give me admittance immediately into Uffizi and / or Accademia Museums/galleries. I am reading about reserving a specific time and it seems this card would not do this specific thing for me. Can anyone give me suggestions?

Haven't used Firenze Card since 2012, but at that time we went into a special (short!) line at Accademia and Uffizi so only a few minutes wait, but no timed reservations. May have changed. Things do.

The card provides skip-the-line admittance unless the museum is full to capacity (can happen during high season) in which case there may be a short wait for some people to leave. From the website:

"The Firenze Card is valid for 72 hours and provides you the admission only once to all museums of the Circuit, located in Florence. It entitles you to visit permanent collections, exhibitions and other activities held in these museums. You don't need to make any reservation and you can enjoy the priority access. You are also entitled to use public transports free of charge."

A visitor reserves a specific time slot if not using the pass, and purchasing tickets in advance from the official Firenze Musei b-ticket booking site.
