Firenze card/ biking in Tuscany

Could someone please tell me if the Duomo tower and Baptistery are included in the Firenze card and also the Boboli gardens??? The website seems to imply that, but then when I actually go to purchase the tickets, it only lists 9 sites that are included. Also, has anyone done the bike tour from Florencetown that is the Tuscany tour? How was it?

As far as taking a bicycle trip from Florence throughout Tuscany: The region is just too hilly for most casual bicyclists. It's out of my abilities.
But Tuscany is great for rambling from hill town to hill town by rental car.

Thank you so much for the quick responses. I am looking for info specifically about the company "Florencetown" and their bike tour in the area outside of Florence. Any experiences with this company? Good or bad?

Bobbie, the hilltowns in the area are actually built on steep cliffs. I don't know where you will be biking, but would recommend you google earth it to see the actually terrain.

We used Florencetown for a different tour and enjoyed it. If you want to ride in Tuscany, and don't have the ability to rent bikes elsewhere and shuttle them out of Florence in a rental car, I'd go this route. My husband and I rented bikes and road from Florence to Siena and getting out of Florence in traffic was a stressful riding experience. It you enjoy cycling, seeing some of Tuscany on a bike is a wonderful experience and, in my opinion, can't be compared to a driving tour.

www.florencebybike.com For the Chiani tour (19 miles, guided, but it is hilly) http://www.florencebybike.it/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=5&Itemid=146 For a city tour on a bike: http://www.florencebybike.it/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=100&Itemid=148 We've ridden a bike in several regions of Italy, and Tuscany is very hilly and can be a challenge. If you take a guided tour, there is usually a van that can sag the group and pick you up if you just can't make it. I googled Florencetown as I've never heard of it...here's the Facebook page for others to review:

Would love to hear what you decided on the bike tour. I found a couple of companies highly rated on tripadvisor and was thinking of going with one of them. Tuscany bike tours and I bike tuscany. Both sound very similar.
