Firenze Card

Has anyone use this card?

Online it says that the academia and uffizi is sold out for the two days that we’re going to be in Florence. Can I get into those museums using the card even if it says sold out?

Has anyone use that card and is it worth the money? Thank you

Genie, whether the card is worth it or not for you depends on how long you'll be in Florence and how many attractions the card covers that you have interest in. You have to do the per-attraction math in advance to see if it's an economical purchase or not, and be aware of what days the most-visited attractions are closed. You don't get an extension to the 72-hour life of the card on days those museums aren't open.

If you decide on the card, don't go by the reservation system on the museum websites: follow the directions on the Firenzecard website for making a timed-entry reservation. Once contacted, they will tell you what slots are still available, and you do not have to purchase the card before making the reservation:
