Firenze Card and Vasari Corridor

We will be visiting Florence in October for for a little over two days. We were looking at the Firenze Card but also the Vasari Corridor of the Uffizi. Apparently the Corridor can only be visited by a tour. Does anyone know if the Firenze card might apply here or enable a discount on the Vasari Corridor tour which seems to run 72 euro?

What about the Amici degli Uffizi pass...does that apply either in any way to the Vasari Corridor?

I understand that some tour operators might give a discount if you have a card like that, but I dont know about this. You should ask the tour operator. I did this tour with Artviva, and they took care of admission costs. From what I've read of the Firenze card it didn't seem to save me any money so I didn't bother getting one. The places I went to where "skipping the line" would have been nice I generally went with an organized tour so it would not have saved me any time either.

The Firenze card does not cover the Vasari corridor. The Vasari corridor can be expensive to see and has limited admission. I think you need a reservation. You can look Vasari corridor up online. It's been a while since I looked at it. I didn't do Vasari corridor.

We used the Firenze Card last year and it easily paid for itself with how many places we visited and the ability to skip the lines (esp at the Accademia). However, it was cheaper last year, so you might want to look at what you plan to visit and see if those fees exceed the Card's costs. We also used it for the on bus, which was handy to get up to Piazzale Michelangelo.
