If I have a Firenze card do I still have to book in advance at the Uffizi Gallery or any other major museum?

Not according to their website and most other sources. There is a special line for firenze card/friends of uffizi cardholders. You may have a brief wait as only so many people are admitted at any one time, but there is no need to make a reservation-- unless you simply have your heart set on entering the gallery at exactly 09:15 am :).....
