We (retired couple) wish to spend 5 nights in Tuscany on our own. We start with a tour that takes us to Rome, Florence, Sienna, Venice, Milan, Cinque Terre. Then want 5 days in Tuscany without a car. So many online sites to look at; wish we could hear others' experiences. Looking for someplace just outside of a small village not far from a train for daily excursions. But mostly want to walk or bike including to buy groceries to cook in our own very small, quiet apt or studio. Any suggestions? Thank you,
