Finding a tour guide in Pompei

We would really like to have a personal tour guide when visiting the ruins of Pompei to get the most out of this visit. How do you go about it? We'll be there in June - high season so most likely very busy.

Guides stand at the entrance to Pompeii and offer their services. You should have no trouble finding others to share the price and still keep the group small.
