Finalising my itinerary in the Dolomites in July

Thanks to the useful advice you've given me, I've just about finalized my itinerary in Ortisei in July this year.

Day 0: Arrive
Day 1: Seceda to Pieralongia Loop (or to Col Raiser)
Day 2: Trail of the Witches (Bullaccia/Puflatsch)
Day 3: Adolf Munkel Trail (walk from Ortisei, bus back)
Day 4: Sella Group by bus (no hiking) & Sassolungo Group Hike
Day 5: Depart

Questions
-Do you recommend making any changes? I plan on not renting a car, but I can easily be swayed.
-Do you think it's necessary to add in the hike near the Sassolungo group (in red)?
-If so, can you suggest a short hike?
-Should I combine Day 1 & 3 (you can walk over the ridge near Seceda to Val di Funes) and separate day 4?

Tyler, Did you confirm with the TI or the Catores guides that there is a tour for #3 and #4? If you are not going with a group for #3, make certain you have great directions and know the bus schedule before you set out.

While the Bullacia hike is good, I think the Hans & Paula Steiger Trail is even better and the one in the Rick Steves book that goes from Panorama to Zallinger is very nice if you want something moderately strenuous.

Wow, those are two stunning hikes. I will do one of these instead of Three Witches. (I'll have to check and see if the shorter one is in your book). And, unfortunately, no, I couldn't find any tours on Catores for hike #3 in their summer program. But thanks for the word about finding a bus first. I'm starting to wonder if this hike is worth the extra distance. I've just read that it's a less touristy side of the region and they, of course, have the icon shot of the church that I'd love to see.

Do you know of any hikes around Sassolungo (my plan on day 4)? I noticed the hikes you just suggested have views of it, so maybe I can enjoy an extra day in Alp de Suis and see the mountain from there.

Don’t hesitate to write to the TI or the Catores to ask about a trip over to the Adolf Munkel Trail.!
