Figline Valdarno

i am staying near Figline Valdarno and am interested in seeing interesting hill towns and vineyard within a 1-1 1/2 drive . Any suggestions?
Also have you picked up a rental car in Figurine Valdarno? or would you pick it up in Florence?

I seriously doubt there are rental car offices in Figline. Actually I'm pretty confident there are none. Florence or Arezzo are the closest locations.
